Access to and use of Lindex Online Shop and www.lindex.com (the "Website") are subject to the following terms and conditions. If you access the Website, browse or place an online order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Please read these terms and conditions carefully as they contain important information. If you have any questions about Lindex, these terms and conditions or our website, please do not hesitate to contact Customer service.
To place an order on the Website, you must be over 18 years of age and must be resident within the United Kingdom.
This website is owned and operated by Lindex UK Fashion Limited of Wey House, Farnham Road, Guildford, Surrey, GU1 4YD United Kingdom.
Lindex retains the right to amend, modify or withdraw: the website, these terms and conditions at its discretion without notice to you. The terms and conditions valid at the time of placing the order shall be applicable to the order, even where there are subsequent amendments. These terms and conditions are construed and shall be governed in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom.
This Website also contains links to other websites (such as ordertracking), which are not operated by Lindex. Lindex has no control over the linked sites and accepts no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.
3. Terms of purchase
Lindex only accepts orders made from our Website - we currently cannot process orders via telephone, e-mail or by post.
To place an order on the Website, you must be over 18 years of age and must be resident within the United Kingdom. You must also provide us with a delivery address and contact details (such as e-mail address and mobile number). This can be done either in the shopping bag or by registering a customer profile on the Website. If you are resident outside the United Kingdom you have to register at your local Lindex website in the market in which the order shall be delivered, provided that it is within any of the 27 EU-countries to which Lindex delivers.
Items placed in the shoppingbag are not reserved until the order is placed and confirmed by Lindex through order confirmation sent to your e-mail address.
a) Contract and confirmation of order
When ordering goods on the Website, a binding agreement to buy is concluded only after Lindex have confirmed the order to the e-mail address given by you (Order Confirmation). The order confirmation is sent to your e-mail address when Lindex has registered the order and received payment. Orders placed on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays or on any public holiday will be confirmed no later than the following business day at 18:00.
b) Pricing and currency
All prices are shown in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) on the website and are inclusive of VAT. Prices may change and offers may be withdrawn at any time.
Prices given on the date when the Customer makes an order are valid throughout the entire purchase process. Maximum purchase amount per order is £ 500 (including any shipping and handling fees)
c) Discount and promotion codes
Lindex may from time to time offer promotional discounts, with or without a promotion code
Promotions with codes are in general only valid once - and once the code is used it will be deactivated, and the code will be no longer valid.
Promotions cannot be added to an order after the order is confirmed, therefore you must ensure that the voucher is registered before you confirm and pay the order. Lindex does not take responsibility for promotion codes or promotions published on external websites.
Lindex reserves the right to withdraw a promotion or promotional code at any time.
When a campaign or promotion is communicated in printed material, or in digital material (e.g. in an e-mail newsletter) by Lindex, Lindex states that combination of different promotions are prohibited. Lindex thereby, in case of missuse of either campaigns or promotions, reserves the right to cancel the customer's order.
Lindex online shop accepts the following means of payment for orders from http://www.lindex.com/uk/. The content of other Lindex sites, e.g. http://www.lindex.com/eu/, are in general the same, however differences in currencies, means of payment, and delivery options varies between one site and another.
When paying using a credit- or debitcard (VISA, Mastercard, Sofort or Maestro), the amount of the order is immediately authorized, and the authorization will be debited when the order is dispatched.
All payments that are conducted with a credit- or debitcard are made via our secure Payment Service Provider (PSP) which uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) in encrypted form providing high-level security for the customer in accordance with the international security standard PCI DSS. All credit- and debit cardholders are subject to validation- and authorization control by the card issuer. If the issuer of the given credit- or debit card refuses to authorize the payment to Lindex, you shall receive a message stating that the payment couldn't be performed. Lindex shall not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of the order caused by such refusal to authorize payment
If you are connected to either of the two direct debit solutions Lindex accept, Sofort or OBT (Online Bank Transfer), you may use this in order to pay for items ordered on the Website.
PayPal is a service that enables you to pay and accept payments without revealing your financial information to the online shop. PayPal secures your information and protects the purchase.
Once you have confirmed your order, you will be redirected to the PayPal login page to complete the payment of the order. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can sign up at the PayPal login page before completing your order.

Pay in store
When using pay in store the customer place the order online. Thereafter, the customer collect the order at the store and make the actual purchase at the same time.
Lindex aims to deliver orders within 4-6 business days after the order is confirmed by Lindex. Note that delivery times are estimates and that deliveries could take somewhat longer during peak season (such as Christmas) and for deliveries to remote locations.
Please be aware of that Lindex warehouse is situated in Sweden, which is the main cause that our timescales in terms of delivery may seem slightly longer than some of our competitors in the United Kingdom.
When your order is dispatched from our warehouse you will also receive a shipping confirmation, with information on how to track the shipment and the tracking number of the order. Should the delivery be delayed for more than 20 days, you are entitled to cancel the purchase. In such case the Customer is requested to contact Lindex Customer Service here>>
Pickup in Lindex store (Free shipping)
If you choose to pick up your order in a Lindex store, the delivery will be free of charge.
When ordering with pickup in Lindex store you shall indicate which store you wish to have the order delivered to. Lindex will process the order and dispatch the order to the chosen store.
In addition to the delivery notification you will receive an e-mail when the order is dispatched. You will also receive a notification via e-mail when the order is ready for pick-up. If you have provided Lindex with your mobile phone number, the notification of pick-up will also be sent via SMS - provided that you have accepted to receive notice of pick-up via SMS in the shopping bag.
The estimated delivery time is 4-6 business days.
When collecting the order at the Lindex store, you shall present the order number and a valid personal identification document, a photo ID, which must be a passport or driving license.
If you don't have the possibility to personally pick up your order, you may send a courier in your name. The courier must be able to present valid personal identification documents, yours as well as his/her own. The valid personal identification document must be a photo ID, a passport or a driving license.
The order shall be collected within 14 days. For unclaimed orders you will be refunded, however Lindex will charge £15 for costs arising.
Express Delivery 48 hours (shipping cost £3.90)
When you choose "Express home delivery" the order will be delivered by UPS within 48 hours to your stated address, as long as the order is placed before 11am. The shipping cost for Express delivery is £3.90 per order, and usually the order will be delivered during the next business day. For some zip codes the delivery time is one extra day, so for these addresses the order will be delivered during the second business day after placing the order.
Keep in mind that your order will be delivered during office hours, between 8 AM and 5 PM.
If your order value exceeds £75, Express delivery is free of charge.
Please note that Express delivery is not an option if you choose pick up in store.
Standard home delivery (shipping cost £1,90)
When you choose standard delivery, your order will be delivered to the address you stated when you placed the order, within 4-6 business days. The shipping cost for Standard delivery is £1,90 per order.
If your order value exceeds £30, the delivery is free of charge.
Lindex uses Royal Mail for standard home deliveries. Keep in mind that your order will be delivered during office hours, between 8 AM and 5 PM.
Local Collect (shipping cost £1,90)
When you choose "Local Collect", your order will be delivered by Royal Mail to the Local Collect location that you have chosen. You will receive a notification by SMS when your order is ready for pick up. Your order must be picked up within 18 days.
When collecting the order at Local Collect, you shall present the order number and a valid personal identification document, a photo ID, which must be a passport or driving license.
If you don't have the possibility to personally pick up your order, you may send a courier in your name. 4. Exchanges and returns
Lindex Return Policy
Lindex has a 30 day return policy, which means that you can return items you have ordered up to 30 days from the date you received your order, provided that the items returned contain the original labels, are unused and are in their original condition. On sale items Lindex offer 14 days right of withdrawal. You must indicate the reason for returning the goods. The returned items shall, as far as is possible, be packaged in the same way as when the items were received.
For items purchased from November 22, 2019 we have extended our return policy until January 7, 2020.
Returns of the assortment MOM must be made with postal services to Lindex Online Shop.
If trying on bathing suits or underwear, please ensure that these items are tried on over your own underwear and please do not remove the hygiene strip.
What is not covered?
For hygiene reasons, Lindex cannot offer refunds or exchanges for:
a) bathing suits or underwear if in either case the hygiene seal has been removed or if Lindex reasonably believes the items have been worn (other than for the purposes of trying on in accordance with the above); or
b) cosmetics or earrings which have been removed from their sealed packaging.
However in respect of items which are faulty please see the Lindex defective items policy below.
How to cancel and return your items
You can cancel your order by emailing, faxing or posting Lindex, you can also fill out a copy of our Cancellation Form which is available to download here>>. You have 30 days to return a product that you've purchased through our online shop.
To return the unwanted items, please send the items together with the Delivery Returns Form (which will be enclosed with your order) to Lindex within 30 days of the date on which you received the items.

Lindex suggests that you retain evidence of posting or proof of shipment and the tracking number until the purchase price has been refunded.
The easiest and most economical way to return the goods is to bring the package to one of local Lindex stores ("Store Return"). Returning the goods this way is free of charge for the Customer. Store Return is possible only if the delivery address of the original order was in the same country as where the Lindex store is located.
When returning the goods to a Lindex store, the Customer should bring with her/him the original delivery note that was enclosed with the shipment. Only this way can the purchase price and Delivery and Service Fee be refunded to the Customer.

If you cancel your order in accordance with these terms, you will receive a full refund of the price you paid for the items and any standard delivery charges you paid for. Please note that Lindex is not obliged to refund any supplementary costs paid by you if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by Lindex.
Lindex will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, no later than (a) 14 days after the day we receive the returned items from you; or (b) if earlier, 14 days after the day you provide Lindex with evidence that you have returned the items; or (c) if you are not yet in receipt of the items, 14 days after the date on which you have informed us that you wish to cancel.
Lindex will make the refund using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event, you will not incur any fees from Lindex as a result of the reimbursement.
When you make a return of items included in an offer, the discount is removed if you don’t meet the conditions of the offer with the remaining items. The discount will be deducted from the remaining items which you keep after the return.
Lindex cannot process exchanges on returned items.
5. Notice of Defects
Lindex shall ensure that each dispatch is carefully inspected before delivery to the Customer. Should the goods nevertheless be incorrect, damaged or defective upon the receipt by the Customer, please contact Customer Service
In the event of incorrect, damaged or defective Products being received, you are requested to contact Lindex Customer Service.
Please contact us within five days from the day you picked up your order.
Once Lindex has received the damaged goods, we will within 14 days refund the Customer for the faulty item as well as for the costs of the return shipping.
If the Customer prefers, he/she may also file his/hers claim at any Lindexstore in UK.
Unfortunately Lindex may have made a mistake and missed to pack all items in your order - in such case please accept our apology and contact our customer service straightaway, so that we can resolve the issue as quickly as we can.
In disputes that we are unable to resolve, we recommend that the Customer contact the European Commission's online platform for dispute resolution: http://ec.europa.eu/odr
Lindex retains the right to withdraw from the delivery of the order if there has been a clear and obvious price error on the website (e.g. the price of the product appears to be too high or too low or if price is given as £0). In such case, Lindex shall without delay inform you of the error and notify the correct price to you.
The items sold at lindex.com are provided for private consumer use only. You agree not to use the items for any commercial or business purposes or for resale, and we have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity. Any reprint, copying, downloading, storing, transmitting or similar activity relating to texts and images presented on lindex.com for any other purpose whatsoever without the prior written permission of Lindex, is prohibited. Lindex is not liable for any errors in texts or images and is only liable for loss of data, loss of income or profit, or loss from claims by third parties arising out of the use of the website or for any products or services purchased from lindex.com where such loss is a foreseeable result of Lindex breach of these terms or its negligence, but Lindex is not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if they were an obvious consequence of our breach or if they were contemplated by you and Lindex at the time we entered into the Contract. Lindex shall have no liability for any delay in the delivery of products to the extent that the delay is caused by any event outside of Lindex's reasonable control, including but not limited to war, flood, fire, labour disputes, strikes, lock-outs, riots, civil commotion, malicious damage, governmental actions and any other similar events.
While Lindex aims to accurately describe items and images on lindex.com, there may be minor colour variations between the images and the actual products due to a number of factors such as the used internet browser or the monitors color contrast configurations. Lindex cannot be held responsible for differences in colors as a result of aforementioned factors.
Lindex shall have the right to interrupt the use of lindex.com at any time for example on account of maintenance procedures.
